BBQ Box Clarke Quay Popular Dishes
Famous dishes of BBQ Box Clarke Quay are discussed below:
Orleans Flavored Chicken Skewer
It’s a delicious dish made of tender chicken pieces marinated in flavors derived from the lively cuisine of New Orleans. After that, the chicken is expertly cooked and skewered, served with matching sauces or sides.
Mala Chicken Mid-Joint Wings
It’s a well-liked dish made with seasoned chicken wings cooked in a delicious Mala sauce. This particular cut of chicken wings, called mid-joint wings, pairs well with the strong, fragrant Mala flavor to produce a savory, spicy, and tantalizing dish.
Grilled Squid with Spicy Sauce
soft squid with a smokey flavor and soft texture is masterfully cooked to perfection. A fiery sauce that kicks each bite of the food elevates it. A beautiful mix of savory and hot overtones is created by the combination of the robust, spicy sauce and the charred squid.
BBQ Mutton on Rose Willow Skewer
It’s a delicious restaurant dish that consists of tender mutton chunks marinated in a fragrant spice mixture and skewered on rosewillow sticks. The meat is expertly grilled or slow-cooked.
The skewers are not too bad especially for the prawn and beef skewers. But they are too oily. The rest of the food are average. But it’s a nice venue for catch up, gather and chill. The duck with orange slices is over priced and it’s so thinly cut that I can’t even taste the duck at all! Haha.

Chicken fillet and lamb recommended. Gives a clubbing vibe here more of a restaurant. Legit place for groups to have fun
Was here to celebrate my birthday with my friends. Food is good! The kind of Chinese steward food I like or if you like your food more towards the flavourful side. We took the 3 - 4 pax serving of the set. Good enough.
The food is not bad, but very poor value for money. There are things that are good like skewers and they are not very expensive. That's if the Angus steak takes the prize, I've worn softer shoe soles. It seems that "medium-rare" here does not mean the same as in the rest of the world. The quantities are small, having ordered 5 dishes we had to order skewers so as not to stay hungry. In short, a place not to return. If I don't give it a star it is only because of the treatment of the waiters who have been friendly.
Ambience and service were good here. Some items were good like the fried Xiao long bao, mutton rack, bread and orlean mid wings. However, some of the skewer items were disappointing especially the meat were quite tough and not warm enough. Overall I think they have few more specialty items not found in other outlets.
The first time I ate kebabs at a branch in Clarke Quay, I was totally disappointed. The beef and mutton were extremely stale, the pig's trotters were terribly fishy, and the chicken wings were salty. Overall, it's a bad review. I've never had such terrible barbecue. Won't come either
this bbq cafe located at 3C, Blk C River Valley Rd,#01 -10. when i want to dine in i queue at outside between 15minutes and they ask me to wait there. after i asking how the sake taste they say they dont know and if me know sake i will know it so it fell iratated.im very disaipointed about their service and next time i dont come again.
I really don’t know where these good reviews come from. I went to this store twice and I felt a different feeling and a different experience. The first time my husband and I went there after seeing the good reviews. There was no waiter at the front desk when we entered the store. Someone called from the kitchen and there was someone in the front, so a waiter came out. We thought it was because it was very busy and there was no waiter. But when we walked in, we saw that the business was not very good. Table customers…Later, we ordered a lot of skewers, and they tasted okay. What made me feel disgusted was that the waiters in this store didn't look like waiters. There was a woman standing there with her butt raised, twisting in front of several men, and then laughing. The buttocks were fat and big, and they were facing us. They had no image at all. We entered a restaurant or a girl's shop, so we were not in the mood to continue eating. It was our first time here and we had a bad impression of this shop. , this time I happened to meet a friend for a treat, and came to this restaurant again. They arranged for us to sit upstairs. I don’t really know whether it was my bad luck or something. As I was eating, cockroaches were running everywhere on the ground. Pretty fast,I am really speechless about this restaurant.Cockroaches can be seen everywhere. Can you imagine that your food can still be eaten by customers with confidence?Extremely negative review
Amazing place! The variety of skewers could be more for the vegetables (excluding mushrooms) as there is only a handful. But I really love love them! They are marinated well! The biggest shout out is really for the vegetable in the third picLove the grilled plate too as it keeps the food warm wellsThe side dishes were great! Enjoyed the dumplings and chicken wings. There are also free snacks which u can take near the entrance that goes well with the beer. There is discounts during different time, such has happy hour and side dishes promotions.
Some of my friends and I are so into the Chinese grilled food thing. We found this BBQ Box in the prime area of Clark Quay. It is a simple place with good food. Besides all the bbq items being served there are also variety of cooked dishes of fishes, noodles, etc. I would visit this restaurant once a week with some friends just to relax and slowly take in the delectable taste of the food and to catch up with events of our lives.
the shop was open at 12pm..... Went in to order, was told MOST ITEMS WERE UNAVAILABLE UNTIL 3pm.......Had the mantou, it was a DISAPPOINTMENT. It's just normal bun in half, pan fried..... It was $1.80 for that!!!Atmosphere was good, partially due to the outside area which is not part of the shop......
We had dinner here after our boat ride. Our waitress Nikky was super helpful. Her recommendations were spot on.We started with Hand smashed spicy cucumbers. I made this dish at home sometimes, but theirs were so much better. We also had various skewers, Sichuan spicy cold noodles, and Orleans chicken wings. All very tasty. But we loved the wings so much that we ordered one more even though we were kind of full already. The Japanese Kirin draft beer was a perfect match for the food.
Food was nice but they added double of a dish we only ordered one of, so they overcharged us.Always check your paper receipt, as it did not match the electronic list from the QR code (which was what I checked).
I give six hearts to my little brother. The service attitude is so good. Five hearts cannot express my sincerity! It’s so delicious. I highly recommend bringing friends here next time!
the food and service was okay at first but when we were going to make payment, on my side, the payment went through but on their side, it didn’t go through so i was confuse. He said " it is not our problem it’s your problem it didn’t go through so you need to pay again” and it was in a rude tone. After paying and confirming when we would get back, one of them said tomorrow, one said tonight. After thinking, we went back to ask again, so is it tomorrow or tonight get back, he said " cannot be tonight mah, we close at 3am " then my friend said his service attitude was really bad and he said " actually i think my service ok, if not can i know which part of it was rude "his tone was very rude in general, like as a manager , his basic service of customer is not that. like we clearly don’t spend as much as the other customer but we are still paying customer.
Initiation to these delicious BBQ skewers! Most of the grilled skewers were well-seasoned & I particularly like the grilled prawns & potato slices. The orange sauce that came with the Taiwanese popcorn chicken was sweet & tangy. Some items were really spicy, eg. Rice noodle with clams in tin foil. 🥵The set menu is a good choice for first-timers if u have a big group & wanna try a few of their signatures. There was also half-price on some of the sides due to Happy Hour!IG @pingguo301
An interesting place that serve bread as dinner. Hahahah..The food is good, flavourful and not too salty.Nice deco as well for some photo shoot. 📸😂One disadvantage is that the mobile reception is no good for circles life, gomo... And their WiFi not as fast too. Hahaha..Overall, will visit again.
We filled our tummies with all the good stuff here!!! One of the best chinese skewers!! The skewers dont have the typical china spice powder (turmeric) which really suited our singaporean tastebuds.Highly recommend the seafood in the pot soup thing not exactly sure what its called but i think i had 2 of those on my own and also the grilled mantou omg please stop i cannot my buds gonna explode i keep eating non stop ok
Am a regular at the Geylang branch and decided to check out this outlet since we are in the area. They have a bar and more food variety than the geylang's menu. Love the cold aircon and the clean toilets! Food is delicious and reasonably priced even though it's at prime location. The decorations are slightly different from the Geylang outlet and we love the ambience and vibe. Have always love their concept of having a hot pan on the table to keep your food warm. Great place to chill and eat and drink! Will definitely return and also try other outlets to see if there's any difference in the menu!
Great atmosphere to chill and watch people walk by! Beers are kinda expensive given that you are paying Clarke Quay prices for China beers but at least the food is good! They have a wide range of skewers and interesting dishes to try! Service is fast and fuss free. It gets crowded on Fri sat nights so make reservations! And try to sit by the glass panel at the entrance!
