BBQ Box Bugis Junction Popular Dishes
Famous dishes of BBQ Box Bugis are discussed below:
Cajun Chicken Wings
A mixture of Cajun spices, such as paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and different herbs, is used to season the chicken wings. The wings are coated in a Cajun-style sauce after being deep-fried to give them a crispy quality.
Korean BBQ Pork
Thinly sliced pork marinated in a tasty mixture of Korean barbecue sauce is the main ingredient in the well-known meal Korean BBQ Pork. Using a tabletop barbeque grill, customers may cook the meat to their desired doneness right at the table.
Cumin Beef
Thin slices of beef are stir-fried with cumin seeds and other spices to create a rich and fragrant taste profile in this savory and tasty dish. The warm, earthy flavor that cumin gives the meat pairs well with other flavors such as ginger, garlic, and soy sauce.
Spicy Mala Chicken
Cooked with a mixture of Sichuan peppercorns, dried red chilies, garlic, ginger, and other spices, the meal consists of soft chicken pieces that are stir-fried or simmered in a spicy and flavorful sauce. The end product is a delicious blend of savory flavor, heat, and tingling sensation.
Advantages: There are many varieties of barbecue, and the food is served very quickly.Disadvantages: The pork skewers are too fatty, with more fat than lean meat. Restroom condition is average
I’ve enjoyed tonight’s dinner. The meat was nicely marinated. Chicken wings were crispy. Mala noodles were food too! The place gets crowded from 7pm. Service was good though
comfort food at its best! not the most refined skewer shop (the neighbouring skewer shop has arguably better/spicier seasoning) but bbq box has an unbeatably wide variety of skewers to choose from! the novelty of having a heated tray to keep the skewers on is also a big plus (although it doesn't really keep warm).always long snaking queues on the weekends.i can never tell which skewer corresponds to which meat so it's hard to make the right repeat order! the toast however is obviously easily distinguishable. unassuming but so so delicious! my sister a bbq box connoisseur says that they appear to have changed the bread to a milk bread - more hooray for the consumer!
This is my first time trying the skewers here, and I have only tried the Geylang one. This place is relatively large, and the skewers are not inferior to the Geylang ones, but the food may be a little different in each branch. But they are still delicious. Toasted bread is a must-order every time, followed by cumin grilled bread. recommend!
Came here for supper and the place was bustling. We needed to scan the QR code to join the queue but it was thankfully not too long. There is a sitting area to wait and free snacked were provided. Each table had a warning station. I think this was not really hot as it hardly kept the skewers warm. We ordered a few skewers; beef, chicken, potato and mushrooms. The food were well seasoned but it was not hot enough not crispy. The potato was somewhat soggy.Though the food was ok, the ambience was nice and the place was spacious. Did not regret but not sure if will be back.

Food was great. A little thirsty after the meal but the food was great. Clam noodles was great but a tad salty. I love their grilled toast. Would definitely recommend it. They gave freebies and free flow snacks. Had a great experience here. Would be back again.
highly reccomend this spot for affordable and tasty shaokao! in particular the $0.59 toast is actually so good, crispy and well seasoned. also loved the chicken gizzard and juicy beef! great for a gathering with friends
Great tasting Skewers. Ordered a variety and they were all very tasty. Quality of the meats were also excellent. Just a tad expensive if getting full is your main priority.
Expensive, tiny portions on skewers compared to the competitors on the other side of the road. Absolutely do not recommend. It’s weird their skewers are soup based and not the style done over a fire. They charge per skewer, but the same type of meat might have 2 or 3 skewers stuck through them! Beware!
Had several meals here already so this place is convenient due to its location. BBQ box for those who are unaware is a place where you order Chinese skewers and they cook it for you before bringing the food to you. It is placed on a hot plate (the plate is really hot) , which is on a box. The American Berkshire Pork skewer is our favorite, so are the grilled prawns. The dumplings are nice too. Typically the skewers are nice and you can order the cheaper ones which are also quite nice. Definitely a good place to hang out with friends for a chat and a meal
BBQ Box Singapore @bbqboxsg, known for its Chinese-style barbecued skewers, promising mouthwatering barbecue experiences. They provide a wide selection of grilled meat, seafood, and vegetable skewers cooked on tabletop hotplates, accompanied by sides and beers. It's the perfect choice for a night out with friends or family.
A place that I would visit with friends or family at least once monthly.. I love the beer and the seating there.. Very cosy and comfortable and importantly, the food is very flavourful and delicious. Highly recommended for having a decent meal there. They served authentic bbq food with flavours of China. You won't regret it after visiting though it’s quite noisy.Best service and food quality amongst all the outlets in Singapore. Love their noodles, dumplings and skewers.. Never sick of eating it every time. My favourite skewers are grilled pork, pig’s intestines, beef, romaine lettuce, mushrooms, toast, potatoes, orleans midwings and many more..BBQ Box 串烧工坊 at Bugis21 Tan Quee Lan St, #01-03, Singapore 188108Open daily 12pm to 12amFri & Sat 12pm to 1.30am (last order 1 hr before closing)Verdict: 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Super delicious. The best meal I have ever had in Singapore. It was already 11 o'clock when we arrived at the store. The waiter reminded us to order last call. The meat felt very fresh and the seasoning was great. We stayed there until the store was about to close and did not rush us. The service attitude was nice. The food is 100 points nice! Although a little expensive but super worth it
The potato chips and chicken Orleans skewers were delicious! The other ordinary meat skewers were so-so. I heard many people recommend toasted bread, but I personally thought it was okay. The black pork skewers are not recommended, they are extremely oily and salty. The price is very favorable with fave ecards, worth trying
Early dinner at 1600. Nice and peaceful. This place is usually pack and noisy during dinner time. The lamb is still as good. Cold dish is addictive . The squid is succulent . Veg a bit dry today. Dumpling filling is swimming under the skin but taste good. Some of the items was delisted . The corn sausage was a con and taste full of starch 🤭 the onigiri was nice but must eat immediately . The black pepper wings salty nothing but salty . Love the plum drink.
Skewers 串串and 酸辣粉 were goood, but didn’t like the long beans. Wished the soups were hotter, and stayed hot for long. A perk of bbq box is the hot plate that keeps skewers warm for a while. But the price is not super worth..
Chinese cuisine is often known for being spicy and greasy, but this restaurant offers a healthier option without sacrificing its authentic flavor. The pricing is reasonable and the staff are friendly and approachable.
Previously, I went to the Geylang outlet, but this time I tried the Bugis outlet for the second time. After 10 PM, there was a 50% discount. Since it was supper time, we didn't order high-end food, but the dishes were still delicious. The lamb skewers were $0.9 each (though they were average in taste), but the grilled mushrooms and grilled beef tripe were delicious. The grilled oil lettuce was also very tasty.
The烤串is very nice with the powder . I don’t like it that they don’t separate the spicy and non spicy ones. I don’t take spicy food but they mix everything together and it was hard for me and my friend to identify which was the one we ordered. They served the pork with chilli and when I asked them about it , they said they served it alr which they didn’t . Bc my friend also ordered pork ;-; but they got me replacement but they way they talked to me was like they actually served it and they didn’t got the order wrong
All the grilled skewers are good. Grilled bread is also nice. Orleans chicken wings are nicely marinated and grilled. End your meal with the grilled pineapple which is nicely cameralised, sweet and juicy.
Good place for chuan chuan...Pricing wise it's slightly above averageFood quality is good, match the pricingAtmosphere is on point, aircon is not exactly cold but decent enough. Toilet is very clean, there's 2 toilet, so it's female friendly as most places have dirty toilet.Food wise portion is not alot, you just have to order. For guys that are slightly bigger eater, be prepared to spend about 50-100 per pax including gst, it's similar to HDL pricing.Along this street there's many other competitor shops that sell the same thing, will take time to try then out.I will return to this place again to try other dishes.Parking is a challenge, recommend to park at Bugis or national library and walk over.Best dish I would think it's the chicken wing.
Average Chinese BBQ. The beef skewers on apple wood are tasty. Dishes are hit and miss. Lamb chops are too fatty and lack flavor. The vinegar spinach with peanuts was quite nice. I’d give it 3.5 stars if only google reviews would allow us to give more precise ratings! 🙂
Waited about 45mins on a Friday night as did not make any reservation. Skewers are nice and not overly spicy. The rice noodle with clams is nice too. Food are served fast in batches and so we are able to eat it still hot..
I went here with my friend. The food was very nice but not the best for me. The skewers were really nicely grilled, very meaty and the spice were also very tasty. The man tou was grilled quite well, crispy outside, but the inside was too dry. If inside is softer then would be better… And also the place was too noisy and crowded so can’t hear each other well. But overall the food was nice
Previously was at the East Coast outlet, tried the Bugis outlet this time. Did not choose any premium options (the difference was the kind of topping on the meat) but food was still good! Each stick was $1.60 on average. The waiters don’t ‘introduce’ the meats so we had to deduce ourselves if we were eating beef/pork/mutton.The mutton was very tender and we enjoyed it the most! Shishamo (fish) was also enjoyable, very nicely grilled. The bun was v generous and lightly salted, which I enjoyed. Nice vibes, got crowded after 7pm.
First time there during lunch time, not that crowded. Like their food and they do have the BBQ plate on each table therefore the bbq skewers will place on top and food still be hot even if u eat later. Although varieties not as much but overall i will still go as it is a nice place to eat 烤串. I love their potatoes, toasted bread, 凉拌面, will go try more next time. Best to make reservation as dinner time and weekends normally fully book.
